At the HOUSE, HOOD is something special. It's our House of Bread's Open Doors and it's a community celebration created just for you and you are invited!
Following the success of Christmas Meets HOOD 2024 gathering, it's happening again. We're bringing together live Christmas music, Christmas Carols, giveaways, the HOOD 2025 Community Choir, opportunities to connect with your community and delicious Christmas food—all in the spirit of Christmas. Yes, and you can sing in the HOOD Christmas Choir for ages 5 and up!
What’s HOOD About?
HOOD isn’t a typical church service. It’s a place to meet people, share stories, and experience real support. Through HOOD, friendships have blossomed, hope has been restored, and many have found meaningful connections.
Whether you’re new to the city, looking to make friends, or just want to celebrate the season in community, HOOD is for you

Ever Wanted to Sing with a Choir?Come Sing in the HOOD Christmas Choir!
No Experience needed!
Music brings people together, lifts our spirits, and creates connections that words alone can’t. That’s why we created the HOOD Choir—to build community through shared harmony.
WHO: Everyone ages 5+ — families, friends, newcomers, music lovers, beginners, and seasoned singers.
WHAT: A one-day, no-commitment Christmas choir that’s fun, informal, judgment-free, and full of Christmas songs, Christmas carols, festive music, laughter, and joy.
WHEN:
• Choir Practice Schedule: Nov 23, Nov 30, & Dec 7 4:00 –5:00 PM (Immediately following Sun. Service)
• Last day to register to sing on Choir: Dec 7
WHERE: House of Bread, 1681 Cyrville Rd.

What an incredible HOOD event!
From start to finish, the energy was electric—great music, inspiring words, delicious food, and joyful dancing brought our community together like never before. We had two grand prize winners, many other lucky winners, and everyone left with something special. New friendships were formed, and the spirit of community was truly alive.

🎄 The return of the HOOD Christmas Choir—giving you an opportunity to Sing in the HOOD Christmas Choir and perform Christmas songs and Christmas carols with your family and friends for Christmas! The choir commitment is just for this event, with no long-term obligation. Just be sure to register to join the choir so we can prepare.
👧 A special Christmas presentation by Little Loaves, our new Sunday School launched this past September

Register by: December 11, 2024: Sign up with your name and the guests you'll be bringing to qualify for the prize draws.

*Earn Entries: Each individual that is registered (ages 13+) who stays until the end earns one entry, up to 6 entries per group. A maximum of 3 children may be registered as guests.

Guest Verification: Ensure all guests are registered by the deadline.
