The House of Bread (the HOUSE) is excited to invite you to our Open Doors event (HOOD)!
Following the amazing success of our September gathering, we’re hosting another afternoon of live music, engaging activities for kids, and the opportunity to connect with your new community. This time we're combining it with our favourite time of the year - Christmas. We'll even be hosting a Christmas Choir for ages 5 yrs and up!
What’s HOOD All About Anyway?
At the HOUSE, community is everything, which is why we created HOOD—House of Bread Open Doors. It’s not your typical church service. It’s a gathering where we meet people, listen to their stories, and offer support in real, meaningful ways. Whether it’s helping with a need or simply being there for each other, HOOD has already made a difference. It’s sparked new friendships, brought hope, and answered prayers for many who were seeking true connections.

Come Sing with Us: Join the HOOD Choir!
Music brings people together, lifts our spirits, and creates connections that words alone can’t. That’s why we created the HOOD Choir—to build community through shared harmony.
The HOOD Choir is informal, temporary, and judgment-free—open to all ages 5 and up. It’s all about having fun, bonding over music, and celebrating the joy of singing. Whether you're a seasoned vocalist or just love singing along, everyone is welcome—no experience needed!
This Christmas, we’re inviting anyone who loves to sing to join the HOOD Choir! Come share the joy of music with us—no commitment after the season, just fun, laughter, and harmony. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to create memories, share laughs, and experience the magic of music. Come sing with us and make this Christmas unforgettable!

Event Recap: Energizing Music, Joyful Food, and Cherished Fellowship!
What an incredible HOOD event!
From start to finish, the energy was electric—great music, inspiring words, delicious food, and joyful dancing brought our community together like never before. We had two grand prize winners, many other lucky winners, and everyone left with something special. New friendships were formed, and the spirit of community was truly alive.

🎄 The return of the HOOD Christmas Choir—giving you an opportunity to sing with your family and friends for Christmas! The choir commitment is just for this event, with no long-term obligation. Just be sure to register to join the choir so we can prepare.
👧 A special Christmas presentation by Little Loaves, our new Sunday School launched this past September
🎁 Holiday food and gift drive to support our community
